{"id":10487,"date":"2020-04-30T05:00:20","date_gmt":"2020-04-30T11:00:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/uswps02.newsmemory.com\/northernplainsindependent\/news\/?p=10487?destination=northern-plains-independent"},"modified":"2020-04-30T05:21:14","modified_gmt":"2020-04-30T11:21:14","slug":"mabel-sherman","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.northernplainsindependent.com\/2020\/04\/30\/mabel-sherman\/?destination=northern-plains-independent","title":{"rendered":"Mabel Sherman"},"content":{"rendered":"","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\n\t Mabel Anne (Thompson) Sherman, 80, of Medicine Lake died April 19, 2020.<br \/>\n\t  She was born Feb. 17, 1940, on the farm at rural Reserve one of 11 children to Nels and Mathilda (Flakne) Thompson.<br \/>\n\t  She attended Plentywood School, graduating in 1958.<br \/>\n\t  She married Clarence Sherman on Oct. 17, 1959, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Plentywood. They lived in many places following Clarence\u2019s  work in the oil fields. They raised four children \u2014 Tracy, Nancy, Kevin and Tim.<br \/>\n\t  She enjoyed being a homemaker  and selling Avon. Her hobbies included embroidery and crossword and jigsaw puzzles. She enjoyed time spent with family and visiting with friends.<br \/>\n\t  After Clarence\u2019s retirement,  they settled in Medicine  Lake.
