He attended school in Brockton  and was active in basketball  and track.<br \/>\n\t  While living on the badlands  in Brockton, He enjoyed  riding horses and had his own horse, Socky Boy. With sibling and cousins, he roamed all over the badlands and went sliding down on all the big hills. He enjoyed going hunting with his dad when he was younger.<br \/>\n\t  He graduated from Brockton  High School in 1969 and then went on to work at West Electronics, then A&amp; S Industries  back when they were manufacturing guns for the Army.<br \/>\n\t  He lived in Poplar, then moved to Moline. Ill., where he worked as a welder and took up Tae Kwon Do. He then returned to Poplar and attended the NAES Community  College, then the Fort Peck Community College and graduated with an AA degree in education.<br \/>\n\t  He started working at the Fort Peck Commodities until he retired in late 2000s. He lived in Poplar and later in life moved to Wolf Point.<br \/>\n\t  He was the fourth of eight children born to Jacob Sr. and Marian. His siblings include Elvera, Rose Marie. Virgil Charles. Isabelle, Alice, Angeline  and Hattie. To family and friends, he was know as \u201cBoopy.\u201d He loved to cruise and spend time with his friends, nieces, nephews and grandchildren.<br \/>\n\t  He was an avid artist. He enjoyed reading the newspaper,  the Enquirer, working on puzzles, watching good old western movies or spooky movies. His passion was working on his trucks and always made sure they were running good. He also enjoyed  fishing and swimming.<br \/>\n\t  He survived by his sisters, Isabelle Shoots and Alice (Shoots) Aguilar; and numerous  grandchildren and great-grandchildren.<br \/>\n\t  He was preceded in death by sisters, Elvera, Rosemarie,  Angeline and Hattie; and brother, Virgil Charles Shoots.<br \/>\n\t  His funeral mass was held Wednesday, March 26, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic  Church in Poplar. Interment  followed at Riverside Catholic Cemetery.
