Wolf Point Scores 79-58 Victory In Sidney

 

A hot-shooting Wolf Point team scored a 79-58 non-conference victory in Sidney during boys’ basketball action on Tuesday, Jan. 31.

After falling behind early, the Wolves used excellent three-point shooting to earn a 27-9 advantage in the first quarter. The Wolves hit eight three-point shots in the period including four by Kelby Bauer and three by Juliun Benson.

Wolf Point exploded for 24 points in the second quarter to increase the margin to 5123. Gaige Bushman scored six points and Kraven Silk added five points in the period.

The Wolves held a 67-38 lead after three quarters of play. Silk had five points including a three-pointer in the quarter.

Reaching double figures for Wolf Point were Bauer with 19, Benson with 18, Silk with 13 and Bushman with 12 points.

Also scoring were Lennoxx Lilley with eight, Peyton Summers with six and Cade Stafne with three points.

Top scorers for the Eagles were Aren Larson with 15, Braylon DiFonzo with 14 and Chace Waters with 11 points.
