Cowboys Outscore Brockton For First Victory

The Culbertson Cowboys opened its basketball season with a 60-49 victory in Brockton on Friday, Dec. 2.

Culbertson led 34-28 at the end of the first half and then increased the margin to 48-33 in the third quarter.

Scoring in double figures were Mo Bighorn with 15, Mark Kirkaldie with 14, Bridger Salvevold with 12 and Donte Eagleboy with 11 points. Also scoring were Payton Perkins with six and Dawson Bergum with two points.
