Wolf Point Youth Baseball/ Softball Holding Sign-ups

In an effort it determine if there is enough interest in summer youth baseball and softball this year, the City of Wolf Point held a sign-up at the Borge Community Park ballfields Tuesday, May 19.

The City Recreation Department is waiting for Gov. Steve Bullock’s Phase II of the statewide reopening plan.

If enough ball players are signed up, the city will move forward with a shortened season that might have a later start than in previous years.

Additional sign-ups might be held.

For ages 6-8, boys’ and girls’ pee-wee provides provide instruction in fundamentals and fun for the children.

The minor programs offer boys’ baseball and girls’ softball for ages nine-12.

Girls’ major fast pitch softball is for age 13 through high school.

T-ball is not scheduled this year.
