Miss Montana Focuses Time On Brockton, Culbertson


Despite challenges presented by the pandemic, Miss Montana Jessica Criss has been traveling in the region, focusing on stops at smaller schools where social distancing is possible. In normal times, Criss’ travels would involve big audiences at school assemblies. Large gatherings are off the agenda at present however and Criss spent two days at Brockton School and Culbertson School Oct. 19-20.

LuJuanna Rae Fire Cloud, 64, died at her home in Brockton on Oct. 11, 2020. She was born in Sisseton, S.D., to Paul Fire Cloud and Veronica LeBlanc on May 22, 1956. Lou, as everyone knew her, spent the majority of her life in Montana. In 1977, she met and married Robert Youpee. They later divorced, but remained close friends. She loved her children and grandchildren beyond words. She
