Bainvile Clerk Rogers Resigns After Eight Years At Position
Bainville town clerk Nikki Rogers has resigned her position, effective May 31.
As of June 1, she will be taking a new position as a technical assistance provider for Montana Rural Water Systems in Great Falls.
She will work remotely from home, serving area customers around northeast Montana. Rogers told the Community News that she wrestled with the decision.
“The decision was an extremely difficult one as working the last eight years and 10 months has been for the most part a positive educational experience, and I have enjoyed working with the staff and the town council,” stated Rogers in her resignation letter. “I am very thankful that I was given the opportunity but feel this change will be beneficial to my health, my family and my career goals. I enjoyed representing Bainville and wish the town future success.”
Mary Rathbun will serve as interim clerk for the town beginning Thursday, June 1.
